Rising from a grassy hilltop garden surrounded by lush woods and sparkling streams, the architecture of the Kadampa Temple will lift and inspire you. The beautiful gold glass and ornaments, intricate fieldstone masonry and masterful woodwork reflect the love and devotion of the student-builders and artists who worked for five years under the guidance of our founder, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Stepping inside, high tiered ceilings and glass walls on three sides bring in bright sunlight and fresh breezes. A gorgeous cherry wood shrine houses 15 large and ornately decorated Buddha statues, and many sculpted, gilded and painted works of art cover the walls. The Temple is dedicated to the development of everyone’s inner peace and good heart, to World Peace!
